The Old Sugar Mil here in the Sacramento Delta. It is now a winery and host some of the best events in the area. This old sugar beet mill is in the process of being refurbished into a wine tasting area for small, boutique wineries. It currently houses 5 tasting rooms and a small retail shop. The day we visited, there was a small catering company selling some lunch type items. The future plans are to add 5-6 more wineries, a micro-brewery, a bistro and art galleries. The Sacramento delta wine area specializes in Petite Sirah (red) and Chenin Blanc (white).
